Student Engineers, Make Mistakes and Create Your Future...

Have you ever failed in your life? Failure in the sense, that after having planned and put in all your best efforts into something, you end up as a loser!! Yes?

In Australia, if you are trying for an opportunity in the army, your application would be rejected, if you have never failed in your life. The Australian army believes that people, who have failed at least once and succeed in recovering from the same, would serve as better candidates than those who have never failed in their life.

Does the professional education system in our country provide you a platform to fail? There is seldom any scope for challenge. However this should not prevent you from creating challenging platforms and experiment things which are often labeled as “out of the syllabus”.

Student associations, professional chapters/societies/clubs are various platforms where you can experiment things while in campus. You may commit mistakes or even fail in your initial attempts. Yet, you can learn how to rectify your mistakes and eventually reach a stage where you would no longer commit the same ones in future. If you succeed in implementing this attitude, you would hardly make mistakes, when you begin to work as a professional! So invest your time effectively and make full use of the opportunities available in the campus. Remember, the world has wonderful ways of rewarding you for all such investments!
